Mar 27, 2016- The private sector companies in China have expressed their desire for constructing International Cultural Centre along with the tallest idol of Lord Buddha at Damak of Jhapa district.
During the meeting with Prime Minister Oli on Saturday, they said that they wanted to invest in the sector of reconstruction of quake-ravaged districts, infrastructure development projects among others.
Chief Executive officer at the National Reconstruction Authority, Sushil Gyawali, said that the companies wanted to support in the reconstruction of Nepal through the Sichuan Reconstruction Fund.
On the occasion, PM Oli said that constructing the tallest idol of Buddha in Damak was the matter of happiness.
Similarly, the Director and Deputy-Director at the Sichuan Reconstruction Fund also expressed the commitment.
Meanwhile, an agreement was signed between Advisor at Damak Clean Industrial Park, Bhashkarraj Rajkarnikar and the Executive Chairman of the Global NGO Union of China to this effect in the presence of PM Oli on the same day. RSS
